Nursery

We are looking forward to supporting your child with the first steps of their learning adventure at St Cecilia's!

We believe that partnership with parents is crucial to a child's development and as your child's first educator we will work together to enable your child to create meaningful connections to their wider world and to foster a love of learning.

St Cecilia's Nursery welcomes children from the age of 3.

We offer two sessions for Nursery.

Morning Nursery is from 8.30am - 11.30am.

Afternoon Nursery is from 12.00pm- 3.00pm.

We also offer 30 hour (all day) sessions for eligible children from 8.30am-3.00pm.

In Nursery we follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Our Nursery curriculum is fluid and responsive to children's needs and interests. This ensures that every child's individual needs are met and reflects the vision of St Cecilia's Catholic Primary School.

In Early Years we have what is known as 'Continuous Provision'. 'Continuous Provision means that the children have access to a range of resources throughout their time in Nursery. These resources are added to as interests develop to enhance children's ideas and move learning forward.
